We got Bonez Dubb one half of The Axe Murder Boyz! to do a quick mini interview about Horror!! Much love to Bonez, AMB, and everyone at Canonize, Thank you for giving us a couple minutes of your time to Plenty Of Horror the home of The Best Horror Facebook Covers,Interviews and the Odd Movie Review here and there!

1- What was your first experience with horror, and at what age?
The first movie that comes to mind that I saw first was Nightmare on Elm Street. It came out the year I was born 1984, so I watched it at a young age maybe 4 or 5. Our father is a huge horror movie fan so we watched everything from all the "Evil Dead/Army of Darkness" to the 70's movie based on Ed Gein "Three on a Meathook".

2- What attracted you to horror initially?
I enjoyed the fear. Its a feeling that is natural and un-natural at the same time. Its a form of entertainment that only a few can actually enjoy rather than be afraid. Special effects, story lines & even comedy is a major part of horror and that's fresh to me.

3- What is your favorite horror film new and old?
There is so many great horror fims out its a hard question to answer. Evil Dead series and Nightmare on Elm Street/Freddy movies are my favorite old horror films. The most recent new horror movie would probably be The Fourth Kind & Apollo 18. Definitely the new Evil Dead even though I haven't even seen it yet.

4- Do you have a favorite subgenre like Slasher, Zombies, B-movie, etc…?
I enjoy all sub genres really. Slasher, zombies & b-movies sounds like a good list tho in no particular order.

5- Are there any films or subgenres you really do not like?
Only "high-school stale horror" as I like to call it. Like the movie "house of wax" with Paris Hilton. Stale. Haha.

6- What is the last horror film you saw? What did you think of it?
I think the last one I saw was The Possession. It was alright but people these days use children as a way to make their films more "scary" or have more of a shock factor. That's stale.

7- Do you have a most prized item from the Horror Genre?
My Bruce Campbell book "If Chins Could Kill" haha

8- What’s your favorite Horror themed video game?
Damn to this date Id say Evil Dead again. I haven't played any recently. But when I got that one back in the day I spent 3 days on it straight up untill I beat that bitch. No internet, no codes, just me and Ash killin dead-ites.

9- Are you a fan of the Horror remakes or do you think they should just leave what’s not broken the way it is?
I like some & I dis-like some. Some should be re-made some shouldnt. Some dont need remakes but the remake is fresh, and some movies I wish they would remake but probably wont. Horror movie common sense i guess. I think the best way to do remakes is through prequels or sequels. That way an orignal stays original.

10- If you were cast in a horror movie and could choose any role for yourself, would you be The Victim, The Bad Guy, or the Hero? And why?
I would be the bad guy. Nobody remembers the victims or heros in horror movies.

11- (The Classics) Who would you invite to your birthday party first Jason, Freddy, or Michael?
Definitely Freddy. He was always may favorite and he's hilarious. Jason & Michael are just as fresh but they don't talk.

12- (Newer) Who would you invite to your birthday party first Victor Crowley, The Orphan Killer, Stitches The Clown, or other?
Between those three, Id go with the orphan killer because of the fact he uses an Axe. Cliche yea but also fresh.

13- Do you have anything else you’d like to say about the Horror Genre? Or to any of your fan’s reading this?
Reptheaxe! We have always been about the wicked shit and always will. Horror film creators out there stay orginal, fresh & keep a sense of humor. Horror film fans out there let your voices be heard. To much money is spent on movies these days for them not to be entertaining. Stay tuned to plentyofhorror.com! Fresh Crew Say Word!
