I would like to thanks Jamie Madrox 1 half of the Demented Duo known as Twiztid for taking the time to do this, and wish Twiztid the best of luck in there future endeavours. you can currently catch Twiztid on the 2nd leg of the Abominationz Tour whichs goes till the end of April.
Formed in 1997, Twiztid is composed of Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric, who perform under the respective personas of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide Child, and have released ten studio albums.
1- What was your first experience with horror, and at what age?
Madrox: as far as my favorite Horror experience I would have to say Evil Dead... there are many horror moments in my life before it ... but the memories of me, Paul (Monoxide) and Bryan (the R.o.c.) staying up to all hours of the night watching The original (Sam Rami) Evil Dead movie on vhs till we knew the dialogue by heart... those memories are the true base of my horror movie foundation.
2- What attracted you to horror initially?
Madrox: I use to watch the creature feature on WXON Tv 20 with my Grandpa and Dad as a child on the weekends... it was so dope. They would use an excerpt from "Whole Lotta Love" from Led Zeppelin in the commercials and show clips from Hammer Horror movies.. damn those were the days..
3- What is your favorite horror film new and old?
Madrox: I love John Carpenter's Halloween... I've seen it so many times and it never gets old... it's so innovative for its time and even today. A true classic and immortal hit to me. As far as new it would have to be Rob Zombie's Halloween... I love how Zombie gave us all more of the back story on Michael Myers ... true genius. He's the bomb for reinventing my favorite movie slasher.
4- Do you have a favorite subgenre like Slasher, Zombies, B-movie, etc…?

4- Do you have a favorite subgenre like Slasher, Zombies, B-movie, etc…?
Madrox: Not sure but back in the day Violent J and I went to this movie production company during a stop on the Jeckel Brothers Tour, I believe it was and purchased these movies called "Violent Shit" part 1 & 2 and it blew our minds... It was basically the story of a serial killer that would kill people then fall asleep where ever he was ... then wake up and start killing again. It was just unreal but amazing to us. That is as close to the B-Movie genre as I can come to. Lol
5- Are there any films or subgenres you really do not like?
Madrox: Not really.. I like to think that
I'm a supporter of all horror cinema no matter what shape or form it is packaged in. I will be there with my pop-corn in hand watching... waiting for a scare.
6- What is the last horror film you saw? What did you think of it?
Madrox: I saw "Mama" by Guillermo Del Toro .. it was amazing to me. It scared me while keeping me invested in the characters and the goings on in the the movie. It was like a mix of Full House meets Pan's Labrynth with a hint of Ringu ... a pure Masterpiece in my opinion.
7- Do you have a most prized item from the Horror Genre?
Madrox: Yes ... I have a few... I have a hallway in my home where I have autographed pictures from musicians, comedians, and movie stars... I like to sit on the floor sometimes like a weirdo and stare at the pictures and just think how blessed I am to have such a collection of awesomeness. Among the freshness, I have an autographed Gunner Hansen flat, one from Kane Hodder, and even one from Tony Moran .
8- What’s your favorite Horror themed video game?
Madrox : believe it or not I'm not big into video games... my brother and my kids are way more into that kinda stuff than I will ever be... but if I have to pick it would be the new Walking Dead Dixon Brothers Game ... cause I'm a Walking Dead fan.
9- Are you a fan of the Horror remakes or do you think they should just leave what’s not broken the way it is?
Madrox : Yes I am... I'm a firm believer that every now and then a franchise needs a face lift... to keep it prevalent in the ever changing world we live in today.. so I support them all and get my ticket and pop-corn money together when they release in my local theater or straight to dvd.
10- If you were cast in a horror movie and could choose any role for yourself, would you be The Victim, The Bad Guy, or the Hero? And why?
Madrox : I see me and my brother Monoxide as the Bad Guy victims turned heroes because that's how life is... it deals you a hand of shit and it's up to you to take the bad and flip the script and take the bull by the horns and say "fuck you mutha-fucka ... I ain't dying now or ever. .. and if I am going to die.. I'm going out like a straight lunatic not a bitch!" Ya know.
11- (The Classics) Who would you invite to your birthday party first Jason, Freddy, or Michael?
Madrox: Michael Myers. .. there wouldn't be much conversation at said birthday party but it would be dope to says Myers was there for punch and cake and didn't kill me hahahahahaha.
12- (Newer) Who would you invite to your birthday party first Victor Crowley, The Orphan Killer, Stitches The Clown, or other?
Madrox: Ummm... that's a tuff one... I'd have to say .. the ninja from "Jeepers Creepers" he's creepy as fuck and he's got them bat wings and shit. Just maybe he would fly me over some corn fields on my birthday without dropping my big ass. Is that too much to ask for lol.
13- Do you have anything else you’d like to say about the Horror Genre? Or to any of your fan’s reading this?
Madrox: Yeah... represent Horror cinema whenever or however it rears its ugly head, cause if you don't we're all destined to watch stupid ass movies about Bruce Willis dying hard again or Taylor Lautner being an action star... or some chick flick with a chick I'd rather piss on than spend an hour or so watching trying to be funny..
Long Live Horror Cinema...
